Decided to head oop north for a wee break in mid March 2010 and took some photos while I was there. As usual they're ok
but not great, bad workman et al. So on the way up to Glen Coe the scenes over Bridge of Orchy and Rannoch Moor were amazing. Plenty of snow left up here
on the peaks but the roads were clear
A fish supper in Ullapool over looking the harbour at night, don't ask bit of an in joke
The run down the Gairlock looking back over some random hill peaks
Little Gruinard beach on the road to Gairloch situated just before Second Coast as you head south, aw man
simply stunning golden sandy beach. I was the first one there after the tide had gone out that morning and it
was sunny and almost warm. Had some bread and cold meat, some water and there I had my lunch sitting on a rock.
Had to take some pictures of my footprints on the beach, tide would have washed them away afterwards.
On the road to Achnasheen just past Kinlochewe a nice wee stretch of ground to sit and watch the clouds float on by
A stop just past the Achnasheen roundabout on the road to Loch Carron
